Humic Acid Enhances Crop Resistance
Plants will inevitably suffer from high temperature, drought, flood disasters, pests and diseases, and other adversities in the process of growth. Humic acid can promote plant growth and improve autogenic resistance. It promotes the synthesis of plant proline and sugar accumulation, improves the activity of peroxidase, peroxidase dismutase and other protective enzymes, and adjusts the physiological state of plants in adversity, such as the permeability of cell membrane, transpiration rate, etc., to resist the stress of external adversity.
Some studies indicate that humic acid mixed with pesticides can enhances the effect and can reduce the occurrence of some diseases and insect pests effectively.
Therefore, we suggest that humic acid fertilizers or humic acid products should be reasonably applied at ordinary times to enhance the resistance of crops, so as to reduce the loss caused in plant stress.
